Even in a good year, about three of four people in church do not serve in a given week.

Your people are gifted and willing. Few churches have ever had a way to see it, so the same faithful few carry the load.
You know their faces and their names. Martha shows you the season they're in.
Church will always be busy. If things go well and you grow, you will be busier still. Your people being seen, feeling heard, and invited into more will always be the opportunity of this season.
Martha helps your church make that ask.

Launch timing. About a month from booking to Launch Sunday: two weeks to set up, two weeks to promote. We take a limited number of church-wide launches each month, so earlier dates fill first. Reserve your launch window.
For your people: three short days on their phone, Monday to Wednesday, about ten questions a day, each day opening with a devotional of about four minutes. They answer whenever they have a moment. For your point person: the portal shows one week's work at a time, a Monday list of who to reach with a next move for each name. For you: one Launch Sunday and a planning conversation of about 30 minutes before Week 1. There is no new program to staff.
Launch Sunday invites the whole church. One QR code goes on the screen, the welcome slide, the lobby, and the connect table, and it stays live for a full 30 days, so the people who miss that Sunday still get their moment. Your scorecard arrives within days, and activation begins right away. Anyone who comes in later gets the same journey, inside your 90-day season and full year of access. We hand you the invitation wording, the timing, and a simple launch plan, so it lands the first time.
You preach Launch Sunday, sit with your point person for Plan your season (about 30 minutes), and make the pastoral calls only you can make. Your point person can be a staff member, an elder, or a trusted volunteer. It does not have to be you. They open the portal each Monday, work the list of who to reach, and record what each person chose. Each team leader gets a private link to their own people, with no login and no training. They have the next-move conversation and can tell you who needs a pastor. If you need more hands, Activation Support adds a Specialist from our team with a weekly check-in and more as you need it. Your team still does the reaching. Either way, your people stay with your church, and someone on your team owns what happens next.
Everyone in the room on Launch Sunday, and everyone who comes in over the 30-day window: members, regulars, volunteers, guests. The window stays open so the people who missed that Sunday get the same experience. If you want to start smaller, the Staff Journey is a one-moment check-in for your staff and key leaders.
This is your congregation's data. You, as the pastor, and the point-of-contact you designate have access to the responses and the reports. It isn't anonymized away from you. Each person's link is tied just to them: no app, no login, no shared form. What they share is held in confidence by your church, the way it always has been, by leaders who care for them. It is never ours to read for our own purposes, resell, or keep beyond your engagement. You can export it to your church management system anytime, and take it with you.
Martha is built for churches of hundreds to thousands. With more than one campus, lists and reports filter by campus, and a campus point person can be limited to their own campus. Results sync one way, from Martha into Planning Center, on a Martha Project tab, including each person’s campus. People are matched by phone, then name, then email, so the next sync updates the same person instead of adding a duplicate. You can also export to CSV any time. For 2,500+ or several campuses, we scope a plan together on a call.
Each one is about four minutes and opens with Scripture and prayer. Day 1, "You Were Placed Here on Purpose," draws on Psalm 139 and 1 Corinthians 12: God didn't make you by accident, and this church is not complete without you. Day 2, "The Work of Your Hands Is Holy Ground," draws on Exodus 31 and the craftsman Bezalel, honoring the skills your people use all week as offerings that belong to their calling. Day 3, "You Were Made For This Moment," draws on Matthew 25 and Ephesians 4, a call to step forward out of trust, with no pressure.
Gifts are part of it, and only part. Martha also asks what a person does all week, when they are free, and the season they are in, then hands your team a next move for each name. A gifts test gives a person a label. Martha gives your church a Monday list.
No. Every person in the portal carries a life weather. Someone who is stretched is offered rest before any new ask, and the people who need care sit at the top of the Monday list. Your activation season will never push a worn-out person.
Yes. Run the Discovery Season (Inventory Read) with your own team, or pair it with the Activation Season. Many churches pair them. The read gives you the names. The season is your follow-through, moving each person further into the life of your church. The choice is whether our portal structures it, or your own systems do.
Most churches run the read once and work the season for 90 days, with a full year of portal access. Many run it again the next year to see what moved, and the Annual Plan makes that the normal rhythm. If new people arrive all year, ask us about keeping the door open so a new member takes the same read when they arrive.
The data is yours. Sync it to your church management system or export it any time during the year. When the year ends, you can renew portal access, schedule another Martha read, or move to the Annual Plan. We never resell your data, and we do not keep it beyond your engagement.
Results sync to Planning Center, Breeze, Church Community Builder, FellowshipOne, MinistryPlatform, Rock RMS, and TouchPoint, and any system that takes a CSV.
Still have questions? That is what the call below is for. You can also read the full FAQ or send a note.
The call is about your church: your size, the season you're in, and when Launch Sunday fits your calendar. Bring your questions, and we decide together whether now is the season to begin.
